Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of gigsync.live (the “Site”), operated by GigSync.Live (“GigSync”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site or joining the early access list you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. What the Site is today

The Site is a pre-launch waitlist and information page. It describes features we intend to build. Joining the list does not create an account, guarantee access, guarantee a booking, or create any obligation for us to launch in your area or at all. Descriptions of planned functionality are statements of intent, not promises of a service currently available.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to join the list, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to submit information on behalf of a business. The Site is intended for use in the United States.

4. The information you give us

• Give us accurate information and keep it accurate.
• Only submit contact details for a venue, act or business you are authorised to represent.
• You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store it, use it to operate and improve the service, and — once the platform launches — display the parts of your profile you would expect to be visible to venues or artists looking for a match.
• Do not submit anything unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes someone else’s rights.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit false, automated, or bulk signups;
• scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest information from the Site, or attempt to access data that is not yours;
• probe, interfere with, or overload the Site or its infrastructure;
• use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove any entry and block access at our discretion, in particular where we believe these rules have been broken.

6. Our content

The GigSync.Live name, logo, text, design and software are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Photography on this Site is used under licence from its photographers, including Matthew Baron Photography, and from Unsplash; it may not be extracted or reused. [Confirm written permission is on file for all photographers before launch.]

7. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sites and services (for example Facebook sharing). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any planned feature will ship.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GigSync will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify GigSync against claims arising from information you submit or from your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in [COUNTY, STATE] will have exclusive jurisdiction. [Confirm the operating entity and its state before launch.]

12. Changes and contact
